Festool Centrotec Forstner Drill Bit 15 - 35 mm

Forstner drill bits are excellent for their precision cutting capabilities.

They will produce tear free, true diameter flat-bottom holes in softwoods, hardwoods, plywood and plastic laminated board.

The amount of friction is reduced whilst cutting, due to the reduced surface area of the bit.

Subsequently a lot less power is required to drive the bit, making drilling considerably more efficient.

Standard twist drill bits come from a design that is more suited to metalwork applications than wood.
