Abrasives

The following abrasives are used to finish solid surface worktops, including Corian and Hi-Macs.

Need the right abrasives to get that perfect finish on your Hi-Macs solid surface then look no further.

The below abrasives have been tested by fabricators for fabricators and were given the thumbs up. We work closely with fabricators to be able to supply the right sanding discs to get the required finish, if you need assistance selecting the correct grit for your selected finish please give us a call on 01772 258235 and ask for the tool department.

Festool Brilliant 2 - used for the joints and initial sanding. P60-P120

Joest Superpad P - used for intermediate sanding. P120-P400

Joest Superpad SG - used to achieve a Matt, Semi-Gloss or Gloss Finish. SG240-SG3000

Abranet - An alternative disc used by some fabricators for sanding joints and intermediate sanding. P80-P400

Dust Disc - To remove excess dust left on the surface in between changing to a higher grit.
